Child Day Care Services Business Plan
Kid’#8217s Community College(r), aims to help students become future leaders by offering a unique collegiate-based curriculum that is tailored for children and first-class child care services. We offer technology programs, after-school tutoring, arts and crafts, and activities such dance, theatre, and gymnastics all in one place, which is different than other competitors.
Kid’s Community College is a privately held corporation run by its owner, Timothy Bernard Kilpatrick, Sr. Mr. Kilpatrick has 17 years of Executive Management (VP) and Budgeting experience, and extensive experience with budgeting methodologies and strategic planning, including the Balanced Scorecard approach. His interest in computer science, as well as his advanced degree, is what drives our technology component. He will be assisted in daily operations by an industry expert, a campus director and a Vice President of Educational Operations, all of whom have extensive experience with child care.
The average American family requires a dual income or supplemental income due to inflation. This trend has created the need for quality child-care services. The Riverview area in Hillsborough County has a population growth rate of over 14.6%. This means that we can expect a greater market potential for this sector in our area. Reputation, price, service and certification are all critical factors in the success of the child-care services industry. Kid’’s Community College(r), is a competitive market player. We offer high-quality child care services at affordable prices and top-notch educational programs with college-educated teachers. We also maintain a great reputation among parents and the communities we serve.
This is Kid’8217’s Community College(r) daycare business plan. It will be focused on two subdivisions: « Lake St. Charles » and « The Villages of Lake St. Charles », which are new, upscale communities within a 2-mile radius. They boast over 900 new homes. Our target customers are dual-income, middle-class families who value the quality of education and child care we provide for their children, ages 4 months to 12 years.
The school will be open to enrollment starting at 13 students. We anticipate healthy revenues for the first year. By the end, we expect to almost triple those by Year 3. Our largest operating expenses will include compensation at industry standards rates for our highly qualified personnel and rent on the facilities that we have been able to improve for our purposes during our start-up period. We want to grow to four campuses but our plans are conservative and will be funded with cash flow. Our second year will see a net loss.
We are making a significant investment in the company and seeking an SBA loan to match that amount.
Mission
« Some of life’s best years are the ones spent as children and later in college. » We sometimes forget how fleeting and precious those years are when we are working adults in a fast-paced society.
Imagine an alternative to traditional after-school and infant care. One that meets your child’s daily care needs while also providing an active learning environment comparable to colleges, universities and vocational centres across the nation. You will find a college community of professionals who can not only improve your child’s social and motor skills but also help them learn advanced arts and sciences at colleges and universities. A curriculum designed specifically for children that is collegiate-based, and taught in an environment of caregiving.
Now imagine this at a cost less than that of the combination of conventional day care and specific interest based children programs.
Kid’’s Community College(r), a new comprehensive college designed for children aged from 4 months to 5 and in the first through fifth grades, is an exclusive start-up. The College is committed to providing top-quality caregiving services and a learning environment that encourages children of these ages. The College will cater to students and parents by offering excellent care-giving services, an advanced curriculum, business partnerships, and community involvement.
The College is committed to diversity and accessibility. Open door policy means that anyone can apply to the College to provide better care, preparation and education for their child. The College provides a broad range integrated programs and services, as well as innovative learning methods. It strives to provide first-class, affordable caregiving and education.
