Lansing Aviation also offers primary and advanced flight instruction with the help of flight instructors with airline and corporate backgrounds. Lansing Aviation offers professional aviation consulting to meet the needs of individuals, airlines, and corporate clients.

The Company

Lansing Aviation, LLC, has been legally formed and organized as a Michigan Limited Liability Company. The company is located in Lansing, Michigan. All acquisitions of airplanes and company decision-making will be performed by the principle investors or operators.

Lansing Aviation will operate its aircraft out of Capital City Airport (LAN) in Lansing, Michigan. The location of the aircraft records, scheduling, office, and other administrative functions will be 15 miles north from Capital City Airport.

Services

Lansing Aviation offers services for three areas. These are aircraft rental, flight instruction, or aviation consulting. In order to do so, Lansing Aviation will maintain a Cessna 172 Skyhawk updated with the latest avionics.

Our competitive advantages include professional-maintained aircraft, renter/instructor and 24-hour scheduling services that will allow more flexibility for our aircraft flight time.

Lansing Aviation intends to grow their aircraft rental portfolio by purchasing complex, high performance, single-engine and multi-engine aircraft for commercial or airline transport pilot rental and training. We plan to use the Internet and an internet-based business website to schedule aircraft in real-time.

The Market

An enormous demand has emerged for pilot training due to the pilot shortage in airline aviation. To meet the growing demand of students from the area, the previous aircraft rental company in Lansing had to purchase additional aircraft. Mackinac Great Lakes Airlines Systems employs over 19,000 people in Lansing. We feel these employees are well-aware of the outstanding careers that M-GLAS pilots have. We hope that this awareness will increase interest in flying. Additionally, many M-GLAS pilots and M-GLAS mechanics fly small airplanes for fun and to transport their families to vacation spots.

Capital City Airport has many students who are unhappy with their instructors or the poor condition of their aircraft. You can fly with us in our Cessna 172 Skyhawk and our instructors to confirm your dissatisfaction. We also have new business.

Lansing Aviation will be focusing initially on students interested in obtaining their private pilot certificate. These students will primarily come from word-of-mouth-advertising from our instructors, students, and other contacts at Mackinac-Great Lakes Airlines System (M-GLAS). We will attempt to continue teaching these students through their instrument rating course with us, upon completion of their private pilot package.

1.1 Objectives

1. For the protection of your company’s assets and personal liability, form a Limited Liability Corporation.
2. For flight instruction and rental, purchase a Cessna 172 Skyhawk helicopter.
3. At least 50 hours of revenue flight per month.
4. Aircraft revenue to exceed hangar, insurance, fuel, maintenance upkeep and loan expenses resulting in a net income/profit.
