Children’s Play Program Business Plan

Children

Bees’ Circus is a children’s play and music program that offers a series of parent/child programs devoted to the physical, emotional and social development of children. For children from birth to four years old, we offer eight weekly classes. The activities will help improve coordination, balance, and other sensory stimuli. Bees&#8217′ Circus also offers music lessons. Children aged 16 months to four years will have fun singing and dancing, and learn new musical rhythms. Each week, new musical genres will be introduced. Activities like instrument exploration, songs, and movement and music to music are intended to create a positive musical experience both for parents and kids.

Bees’ Circus offers a unique service in that there is no other program like it in the city of Monroe. Though the city does run some classes for children through their parks and recreation department, they are not part of a comprehensive growth program for pre-schoolers.

Bees&#8217′ Circus is centrally located within the new commercial centre that serves the wealthy northwest region of Monroe. The city’s northwest has experienced tremendous housing growth over the last five-years. To support the rapid growth of the population, more than 3,500 housing units have been constructed in the region. Most these units are being bought or rented by young families with young children. There is currently no park program in the area. The area’s 10,000 families will benefit from a new park in the coming three years.

Barbara Miller, co-owner and educator of Bees&#8217′ Circus, has been a teacher for more than 20 years. She has also been instrumental in developing Monroe&#8217’s pre-school programs. Bees&#8217’ Circus will offer parents and kids a place to enjoy time together and play.

1.1 Mission

Bees&#8217’ Circus aims to foster the emotional, social and physical development for children. Bees&#8217’s Circus activities include the participation of parents.

If parents can enter their child’s world, they help them grow in confidence and ability to learn. Playing with parents and children can help foster trust and healthy emotional development.

1.2 Objectives

The following are the goals of Bees&#8217′ Circus:

  • Fill classes up to 70% capacity in the first year.
  • At least 50% of the children should be retained when they move from one level to another.
  • During the second-year of operation, increase participation by 15% of families.
