With the advent of cable television, syndicated radio and the Internet, a fashion statement from New York can be found in a small town in mid-western America in a matter of days. The speed of our telecommunication system has increased young customers’ expectations and demands for products that represent their own cultural statement.

FireStarters will sell youth products and clothing to small towns and communities in the United States.

FireStarters differs from other youth-oriented ecommerce websites in that it is only focused on small-town America customers. The target customer is between 11-18 years old and who enjoys alternative music and youth sports such as skateboarding and snowboarding. Our target customer will be inspired by alternative clothing styles in large cities. FireStarters will advertise only in small communities with between 100,000- 150,000 residents. FireStarters can use small, youth-oriented businesses in these communities, such as skateboard shops and alternative CD shops, to promote their product line.
