Equipment Rental Sales Business Plan

Equipment Rental, Inc., a Breaux-Bridge, Tennessee company, sells and rents heavy machinery such as backhoes, excavators, trenchers, dozers, backhoes, and excavators, as well small construction and home equipment such as augers, tillers, chain saws, etc.

ER was authorized to distribute Hancor Pipe and Stone Equipment, Pro-Cut Diamond Products. Echo Lawn Care. Compact Excavators. Skid Steer Loaders. Ramrod Equipment is distributed only by the company in the South Tennessee area. Komatsu Forklifts can also be purchased from the company.

ER’s management team is world-class and has extensive industry research experience as well as unique administrative skills. The team includes Mrs. Sally James and Mr. David James. The President/CEO of the company, David James, has lived in Denton Parish six years and has worked in all parts of Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. He also has a large list of potential customers and vendors.

The company will employ two locals in various positions within the shop. ER would support the development of the community by hiring locals. Funds would remain in the area thereby boosting the economy and contributing to the community as a whole. Through word-of mouth and a few ER&#8217’s business cards, loyal customers can help expand the company’s business areas.

The company’s strategy includes adding to its ever-growing product line. This currently includes Echo and Interstate Batteries homeowner equipment, as well as commercial equipment from Ramrod and Compact S/I Technology and Komatsu industrial equipment.

The company needs a $300,000 loan/credit line to expand its business. The expansion plans include purchasing additional land, construction of a larger shop/service area and increasing rental inventory. Purchase of a delivery truck and the hiring additional staff including a mechanic or driver. The projected revenues for the first year are $210,000 and $420,000 respectively. Year three is expected to bring in $840,000.

1.1 Mission

ER’s mission is to become THE exclusive full-service equipment rental, sales, and service company in upper and lower Denton Parish with the ability to service the surrounding parishes of Memphis, Knoxville, Grand Prairie, Plano, Garland, Irvine, and Riverside. The company’s strategy, therefore, is to find a limited geographic niche for itself in an area that has no potential competition.

ER’8217’s vision is to expand its services to new areas. As more people are aware of ER’s presence, the company’s coverage is steadily increasing.
