Fine Dining Restaurant Business Plan

Fine Dining Restaurant Business Plan

Opportunity

Problem

Long Branch, New Jersey is a rapidly expanding borough. It needs a warm and friendly area with great food. You can always be sure you’ll get the best of all things.

More opportunities than problems, actually – except it’s dinnertime and youre in Long Branch.

Solution

Gabri’s Lounge and Restaurant will have a comfortable dining area and an elegant lounge. Comfortable furnishings and decor with soothing warm tones. The lounge features comfortable couches and antique love-seats, along with a softly lit bar. This lounge is the ideal place to grab a bite, a drink, or to hold a small business meeting. We will provide special hors de oeuvre platters to our customers for extra comfort.

Market

Long Branch is looking bright for the future. Developers are building a resort worth $150 million. The old pier will be rebuilt with ferry service to Manhattan, New York City, beach cabanas, boardwalk and a bike path over a total of 25 acres. It will have 100,000 sq. Over 700 residential units will be available with condo and townhouse prices ranging from $200,000 to $550,000; rents starting at $1000-$2,500 per mo. and a 2-tier garage. Combining these elements will ensure that the city has a stable economy throughout the year.

Competition

Red Bank, located just next to Long Branch, has the most restaurants. This is our biggest competition. Currently, many people who live in Long Branch drive seven miles to Red Bank to dine out. With the redevelopment in Long Branch and with Gabri’s Lounge & Restaurant, we will convince these people to stay in Long Branch and eat at our restaurant.

Why Us?

Gabri&#8217’s is a great place for a meal. They combine a fascinating atmosphere with outstanding, delicious food. Our mission is to provide excellent tasting food and efficient, friendly service. Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want to be the place of choice for everyone, singles or families, regardless of gender, age, and gender. We will also make sure that our employees are happy. Everyone will be treated fairly and with the utmost respect. We want our employees feel part in the success of Gabri&#8217s Lounge and Restaurant. Happy employees make happy guests.

We will combine menu variety, atmosphere, ambiance, special theme nights and a friendly staff to create a sense of ‘place’ in order to reach our goal of over all value in the dining/entertainment experience. We want fair profits for the owners, and a rewarding place to work for the employees.

Expectations

Forecast

The Projected Profit and Loss statement has the most important assumption. It assumes that the gross profit margin is higher than industry averages. The industry average is also higher than ours. We plan to spend less on payroll.

We see modest growth in the first three years because restaurants rely on word-of-mouth and we’ll be able meet our capacity requirements.

Financial Highlights per Year

Finance Required

Funding is required to fund $300K startup expenses (details in company section), $85K startup cash reserve, and $80K noncash assets. We plan to contribute $225K and qualify for a long-term SBA loan of $240K.
