Regali Luxuri’s principals include Kaethe Villenova and Bensai Hlstadt. Regali Luxuri is an exclusive gift boutique that can be found in Treschicburg’s warehouse district. We specialize in an assortment of high-quality merchandise ranging from customized business cards and greeting cards to personalized apparel and home accents. Regali Luxuri caters primarily to the middle-to–upper class as well as wealthy customers. Our company image reflects what customers desire in home accents. What differentiates our company from other specialty retail shops are the printing services we offer, our “one-of-a-kind” product line and a number of exclusive, proprietary products we designed ourselves.

We will have a website before Regali Luxuri’s Grand Opening. Regali Luxuri expects to break even in year one and to make a modest profit in year two. Regali Luxuri’s future growth plans include expanding the physical location to include the 2nd Level of the live/work unit, broadening the product line, hiring people to design our unique merchandise; implementing ecommerce to our existing website by year three; as well as establishing a mail-order catalog.

We formed our business as a « S » corporation. Bensai and Kaethe invested a lot of time, money, research, and personal finances over many years in the development and expansion of our home-based company into a retail store. Each of us contributed equity investments to the opening of the retail store. Even though we are not well versed in the retail industry, Kaethe does have five years of retail and accounting experience and we have both have taken entrepreneurial and managerial classes through the local University SBDC (small business development center). We have a lot of experience and are constantly learning to help us in our efforts to teach future employees and manage day-to-day operations.

1.1 Objectives

  • Generate total sales revenue to establish a profit at the end of year one.
  • In year three, add e-commerce capabilities on existing company websites.
  • For the third year, set a rate of growth of 20%.
  • Maintain a direct cost of sales of 45% or less.
  • Establish 50% of our merchandise as proprietary products in year two.
  • Establish our company as a premier “Brand Recognized” name throughout the community in year one.
