Gymnastics Instruction Business Plan
Gymnastics Jumpstart will help children in the Detroit Metropolitan. We will help them to become more disciplined and focused, and improve their overall health. Gymnastics Jumpstart is a private gym where the main focus is gymnastics. However, there are many other types of dance and total-body conditioning. The gym will feature Olympic-level gymnastic equipment, for both girls and boys.
Begin with the basics of gymnastics. After that, complete body conditioning is followed by more challenging tricks. We will be different from all our competitors by using repetition and variety in our teaching methods. We believe that a child must have fun and truly enjoy what he or she is doing to learn successfully. Teachers will receive training in new methods of teaching which produce a similar, if not greater, mental effect on children. Parents can observe the gymnasium from their homes, but are asked to keep in a safe area.
In the first year, Gymnastics Jump-Start expects to make a profit. We anticipate having a consistent client base after the first one year. We will hire more teachers as the class grows. If growing classes requires hiring and training more teachers, we will do that. We have strong relationships with our customers as current instructors at other gyms in gymnastics and we will do everything we can to keep them coming back. Our classes prices will be cheaper than our competitors, but we still have a very profitable business.
Wanda Bounce, Bea Flip and Bea Flip were both competitive gymnasts. We have experience in both private and public gyms so we know how they function. With combined gymnastics coaching experience of over 25 years, we understand what our customers want and need. We understand how children learn best from the mistakes our teachers made when we competed in gymnastics. Sometimes you need to let go of the rules and do what is best for your students while teaching. There is definitely a demand for private gyms within Oakland County. We know this because we both grew in this area and had to drive long distances to attend private gyms. We are confident our gym will be successful because of the experience we have with various gymnastics facilities throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area.
Each owner will invest $25,000. This will help to finance the start-up costs of Gymnastics Jump-Start. In addition, we are seeking a seven-year loan of $36,600 to help cover the initial equipment purchases necessary to open a high-caliber private gymnasium. The financial plan provides details on the repayment.
