Truckbay, LLC, Limited Liability Company, was created under Nebraska law by Jim Bell, John Bell, in October 2002. Truckbay.com has a new business model. It will be a light equipment list service on eBay Motors. The network will also include linked websites that can increase sales and exposure. Truckbay.com will be the largest classified listing website in the light equipment market. To achieve this goal, you must provide the highest number of listings per service.

Truckbay.com was created in October 2002. Truckbay.com was launched in February 2003 after a five-month initial software development period. The core business model currently consists of recurring monthly revenues from a membership fee that is charged to light duty truck dealers. This membership fee allows access to a private e-community of like dealers who utilize this industry-specific software to buy and sell wholesale equipment online.

Truckbay and Mr. Y and Z were discussing a merger in September 2004. This discussion was held to evaluate the benefits Truckbay could receive from a contract with them. Mr. Y and Mr. Z founded Company X in early 2000. Company X became the most successful listing service for eBay Motors, capturing over 21% of their total automotive listings in their brief history. Company X purchased their company from eBay Corporation in January 2003. This resulted in an 800% return for their original investors. Truckbay is focusing on a similar business model because of their success with eBay Motors technology and Search Engine technology. Truckbay’s 15% ownership is being granted to Company X, which will contribute capital, business and technical consultancy, as well as a venture capital pool.
