Youth will be served. There will be youth served! Heavy Metal Praise Records will be focusing exclusively on Christian Heavy Metal performers and promoting their success within the popular mainstream of Punk or Ska music.

1.1 Objectives

1. In the first year, sign and record two new Heavy Metal bands.
2. Release the first CD from each group within the first calendar year.
3. Create a strong distribution system that will facilitate CD sale.
4. For the best distribution of our music, you need to form strategic alliances.

1.2 Mission

The idea of Heavy Metal Praise Records is the brainchild of a group of dedicated Christians who created the Skate Ministry over three years ago. Skate Ministry consists of 10 adult skateboarders who share the gospel of God with skateboarders of all ages during weekends at various local skate parks. Most of these young skateboarders are boys between the ages of 12 to 18. Heavy Metal is the most popular music in the Skateboard Culture. It can be heard at every local skatepark. The group recognized from the beginning that the music was encouraging selfishness and violence in the skateboard community.

Heavy Metal Praise’s mission is to present Christian Heavy Metal bands to the target market. It has the same musical intensity as popular Heavy Metal bands, but with a positive, constructive message that will encourage young people to have a closer relationship to God.
