Printing Services Broker Business Plan

Printing Services Broker Business Plan

Copriso, a provider of all printing products and services, is a one-stop shop for office stationery. Brochures, business forms, marketing materials, and other related products are available to Denver area companies. It is a Colorado-based company. Copriso has operated under the name ePrint, Inc. over the past five year under sole ownership by Adam Suson. Adam joined the Sir Speedy franchise his father had created in 1972. From 1983 to 1996, Adam was responsible for scheduling, procurement, press operations and customer service. Adam, who went on to become an independent printing consultant, was able to sell the franchise a few years ago.

Last year, the name Copriso was adopted to signify ‘#8220’ Colorado Printing Solutions. The Colorado name registration conflict caused the name change. The new name was a result of a Colorado name registration conflict. It was decided that aggressive marketing strategies should be used. This strategy includes both direct mail and phone solicitation. Copriso hired a new business partner to help facilitate this marketing strategy.

Paul Levy brings 15 years of sales and marketing experience in both computer technology and telephony. Paul’s consistent performance over that period of 15 years was a result of his collaboration with sales staff members and personally meeting or exceeding all sales targets with quotas from $1-$3million. Paul managed individual sales, as well as training and management.

Printing is an essential business expense. Based on our combined experience and the industry’s resilience, this change of name and ownership, along with our new marketing strategy, will prove to be a sound business move. These are our key factors and keys to success for the coming year.

  • Implementing our marketing plan.
  • We are expanding our customer base.
  • Cash flow planning and financial control

We need a loan long-term to help with our marketing strategy. This loan will pay for the first year of business expenses. We also want to ensure that our marketing efforts are consistent due to the industry’s seasonality.

1.1 Mission

Copriso is an independent printing solution provider that focuses on providing one source for all printing requirements. Our priority is to earn and maintain our customers&#8217’s trust. We will offer exceptional service at a fair price with a consistent margin. We will provide a creative and supportive work environment that welcomes new ideas.

1.2 Objectives

1. To produce generous annual sales by its third year.

2. To establish a tiered client hierarchy:

  • 20 % long-term, loyal customers
  • 60% customers needing to meet periodic and ongoing irregular needs
  • 20% New customers with unmet needs

3. To find 12 new appointments and bidding opportunities per month.

4. To establish two new long-term “quality” relationships per month.

5. To operate at a minimum of 50% margin. This margin is calculated by looking at historical rates over the past eight years.

6. To be a true one-stop operation by being able to accommodate all of a customer’s printing needs from consulting and design assistance to printing, binding, and distribution. Our goal is not to require our customers to source printing beyond our capabilities.

7. To spread awareness about Copriso and support sales and income goals by aggressive marketing and telephone contact. This awareness will be generated through word-of -mouth referrals as well as marketing. To increase business and solicit referrals from existing customers, we will be using the customer base. Client awareness of Copriso will initially be promoted through direct mailings and telephone sales. Future marketing strategies are being discussed with both radio- and television potentials.

8. To achieve a 30% annual rate of growth. This number can be calculated by using eight years’ worth of historical data, and the new marketing strategy.
