Water Purification Business Plan

Water Purification Business Plan

H20 Industries, Inc., or H20 Industries, offers the service of portable ionization tanks. This is the process used to purify water for industrial use. H20 Industries will respond to a growing market demand for portable, segregated resin regeneration. The company will make it a priority to market its segregated regenerative services to the untapped market for customers who need high-quality, reliable regeneration for their DI (deionized) water treatment systems. H20 Industries will be using a Newark facility, California. This facility is limited in production. Full production will begin in September. Sales are expected to grow gradually to capacity by the third year. The first year saw very healthy gross revenues and then increase in the second year.

1.1 Objectives

The main objectives of the project are:

  1. H20 Industries’ ability to offer segregated regenerative services will help segment the portable service market. The goal is to reach monthly sales of 1,710 cu ft of segregated resin by the end of the first year.
  2. To build up a dealership network of 15 knowledgeable and efficient water service companies who will represent H20 Industries in areas outside direct sales from the factory.
  3. To set up a bulk regenerative facility capable of storing 40 cubic feet daily. Then, to sell its full capacity in large portable exchange services market by its own sales force and through a dealer system.

1.2 Mission

H20 Industries’#8217 is dedicated to segmenting the market for pure waters by offering niche products to highly specialized industries which are not well served by large water suppliers. It is possible to segregate a customer’s H20 Industries resin and then re-generate it on a portable basis to hospital dialysis unit. This is an excellent example for a niche product that emphasizes quality and service and which can be purchased at a premium.

1.3 Keys To Success

The primary keys to success for H20 Industries are:

  1. Quality control in the factory. Customers for high purity water business have a very low tolerance threshold for flaws.
  2. Fast response. In the case of most of H20 Industries’s customers, the cost of the water is not a major element in their over-all costs, but a very expensive shut-down could result due to poor or slow servicing.
  3. High-profile allegiances. Success in developing a network of service-oriented water businesses is key to company success.
